In a seaside setting, with beautiful beaches and diverse beauties, lies a mystical creature with long, colourful hair: The Great Mermaid. Thinking of the current search for the ideal female body and inspired by the refusal of aesthetic standards, I combined the figure of the elephant with the imagery of the mermaid, breaking the idea of what beauty is related to size. The character Ariel, of The Little Mermaid, was the initial inspiration.
