Manners: A Limited Edition by Fiona Haddon
Fiona Haddon’s “Manners” presents a humorous and intimate encounter with a giraffe, which she captured in a fine art Giclee print that showcases her extraordinary ability. The artwork portrays a giraffe mid-chew, its mouth slightly askew as if pondering the importance of etiquette. This piece offers viewers an amusing, unexpected perspective on the everyday life of these majestic creatures.
A Gentle Chew
The giraffe’s head and neck occupy much of the composition, set against a serene, pale sky. The details of the giraffe’s face, from the dark, inquisitive eyes to the slight twist of its mouth, draw the viewer closer, creating a personal connection. However, the detail of its mane brings it into sharp focus. Because of Haddon’s skill the viewer can almost hear the munching of food.
Giclee Charm
Printed using the Giclee method, “Manners” displays exceptional colour accuracy and archival quality, which ensures the print’s lasting beauty. Also, as a limited edition, this piece gains added value and collectibility, making it a superb choice for art enthusiasts. Whether displayed in a living room, study, or office, “Manners” introduces a touch of wildlife humour into any space. Because of this, it invites viewers to smile and contemplate the lighter side of nature.
Fiona Haddon Art: A Passion for Wildlife and Photography
Two of Fiona Haddon’s greatest passions in life are travel and photography. She has travelled extensively. Indeed, observing and photographing diverse cultures is an amazing experience, although she always returns to wildlife.
Capturing Personalities Through the Lens
Through her photographs, Fiona hopes to share her passion for wildlife. Also, she aims to inspire people to connect with the creatures we share the planet with, whether it’s a robin, elephants, or sloths. Fiona doesn’t stick to conventional photography rules. She loves studying animals and capturing their personalities.
Painting with Light
Fiona enjoys painting with light, finding it easier to work alongside the animals, rather than painting in the confines of a safari jeep. Finally, she thanks Paul Haddon for his help over the years.
