Missing Mom by Fiona Haddon
missing mom: A Limited Edition by Fiona Haddon
Fiona Haddon’s “missing mom” captures a poignant moment in the life of a young leopard. Presented as a fine art Giclee print, it exemplifies her ability to evoke emotion and connect with the viewer. The artwork features a leopard cub nestled in a den, its gaze seemingly searching for its mother. This piece tugs at the heartstrings. It also shows the vulnerability of wildlife.
An Innocent Gaze
The leopard cub’s face dominates the frame, framed by the rough textures of the den. However, the focus is drawn to the cub’s eyes. Its slightly furrowed brow, suggests a sense of longing. While it looks directly at the viewer, you get a sense it is trying to understand where its mum is. Thus, Haddon skillfully captures the universal emotion of yearning.
Giclee Gentleness
Printed using the Giclee method, “missing mom” boasts exceptional colour fidelity and archival quality, which guarantees the print’s enduring beauty. Moreover, as a limited edition, it gains added value and collectibility, and is a good choice for art collectors. Whether displayed in a nursery, living room, or study, “missing mom” brings a touch of heartfelt wildlife into any space. Indeed, it invites viewers to pause and appreciate the bonds within the animal kingdom.
