Top of the Pecking Order: A Limited Edition by Fiona Haddon
Fiona Haddon’s “Top of the Pecking Order” captures a dynamic moment in the African savanna, presented as a fine art Giclee print that exemplifies her keen observation and artistic skill. The image portrays a giraffe, looming large, with a small bird in mid-flight nearby. The contrast in scale and the implied interaction between the two creatures is what makes this piece both intriguing and visually compelling.
Savanna Symphony
The giraffe’s long neck dominates the frame, stretching down from above, while the bird hovers in the foreground, wings spread. The background features a soft blend of sky and foliage, however, the relationship between the animals is what creates the image. The image shows the giraffe almost passively and the bird appears very focused. Thus, Haddon skillfully captures a moment of coexistence in the wild.
Giclee Grandeur
Printed using the Giclee method, “Top of the Pecking Order” boasts exceptional colour fidelity and archival quality. This ensures the print’s enduring beauty for years to come. Moreover, as a limited edition, this piece also holds added value and collectibility. Whether displayed in a living room, study, or office, “Top of the Pecking Order” brings a touch of African wildlife and the reminder to respect animals of all sizes. Also, the piece invites viewers to consider the intricate relationships within the natural world.
