Waiting for Mom: A Triptych by Fiona Haddon
Fiona Haddon presents “Waiting for Mom”, a moving triptych comprising three evocative images: “Missing Mom,” “Peekaboo,” and “Mom’s Pride and Joy”. Displayed together as a single Giclee print, these images work together, showcasing the multifaceted life of a leopard cub. It is a story of curiosity, yearning, and playfulness. The triptych celebrates the universal themes of family and childhood.
A Trilogy of Moments
The first panel, “Missing Mom,” captures the cub in a moment of pensive solitude, its eyes seemingly searching for its mother. The second panel, “Peekaboo,” shows the cub looking out of the den in a playful manner. Then, the third panel, “Mom’s Pride and Joy,” shows the cub in a delightful pose. Together, these panels show the many feelings of the cub waiting for Mom. However, the combination is a compelling visual narrative that shows the life of a young animal.
Giclee Harmony
Printed using the Giclee method, “Waiting for Mom” displays exceptional colour fidelity, which ensures the lasting beauty of each panel. Also, as a limited edition, this artwork holds added value and collectibility. Whether displayed in a nursery, living room, or study, “Waiting for Mom” brings a touch of heartfelt wildlife into any space. What’s more, the artwork invites viewers to contemplate the bonds within the animal kingdom, from the solitude of waiting to the simple joys of youth.
