Sculptures, made to be used and enjoyed as well as admired……..A Real WOW factor
Reg Bishop started out training as a silversmith at the John Cass School of Art in London in the seventies. Reg then moved onto work in Hatton Garden in the prestigious role of diamond cutter.
Reg eventually changed direction with his creative flair and honed his skills and talents as a cabinet maker, to which 30 years later his craft and design abilities are put to work resulting in Reg’s exquisitely tactile usable sculptures.
Reg’s work also graces such places in the form of wood carving in the Houses of Parliament, book cases in Downing Street. Reg was also tasked to renovate wooden chandeliers for Sir Winston Churchill’s War Room at Bletchley Park (Where they broke the Enigma Code) and repair and replace carvings in the Jacobean fire place, in the entrance hall at Bletchley.
A true English craftsman.
