Nicky’s Artistic Journey

Nicky developed her deep love for animals as a child. She spent her weekends and summers at her grandparents’ farm, where she connected with nature.

From Farm to Studio

Now, Nicky paints from her studio. It’s located in the picturesque village of Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley. Moreover, she can often be found out sketching. Her companion, Max the dog, is always by her side.

Capturing Nature’s Charm

Traditional subject matter is at the heart of her paintings. She focuses on hares, foxes, and livestock. Nicky mainly creates her delightful, contemporary artworks in pastel. She uses a playful use of line and colour. Therefore, she produces artwork full of character and charm.
