The elephant is covered in shapes that at first glance appear random and unrelated. Prior to the introduction of plastics, ivory was used for a wide range of ornamental items. These included pool balls, piano keys, dominoes, Scottish bagpipes, cutlery handles, chopsticks, buttons and even guitar bridges.
All Elephant Parade replicas are carefully handcrafted in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Due to their handcrafted nature, each piece is unique and may vary slightly in design.
