Zalini Art has been an artist for over 25 years and turned professional 7 years ago. In these years he has worked with a number of different styles of artwork; ranging from metal art, using a grinder to create holographic effects in aluminium, to 3D nature inspired organic abstract artwork.
For the last 5 years he has been working with a new technique he developed during his search for something a little different. He wanted something that had lots of texture so it was clear to identify that every piece is an original artwork. From a contact he heard about a tool called syringe dispenser. It’s basically a syringe with a fine neat tip that connects to an air compressor and allows the artist to dispense materials like glue by hand to various items.
Zalini is not someone who seeks the limelight or celebrity status so he is using an alias for this style of artwork. He wanted to create something what is personal to him, but also reflects the style of his work.
His name actually comes from a combination of his three children’s names and represents the unique style and technique he created, to produce a very different artwork to many others. A regular day for Zalini includes 16 hours of work. Not all of those hours are spend in the studio painting, but as an self-employed artist he is always doing something regarding his artwork.
